Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)

SFMNP provides benefits to participants that are 60 years of age or older OR is a disabled individuals under the age of 60 living in housing facilities occupied primarily by older individuals where congregate nutrition services are provided. Funds can be used to purchase fresh, unprocessed, fruits, vegetables, cut herbs, eggs (state funds only), and honey. Individuals must have a household income of not more than 185% of the annual poverty income guidelines. View distribution locations here.

Instead of checks, participants will now be using a card to purchase eligible products from farmers. Farmers will be conducting sales via an app that processes payments and directly deposits sales into their selected bank account.

Cards will be distributed weekly on designated days beginning in July at the Human Services Department.
